Moving our business out of the basement had always been on our minds. We explored all potential options and a home studio made the best sense.  After the holiday dust settled in 2014, we finally made the jump into building our dream studio.  Since then, it's been planning and thinking and more thinking and planning. A design was drawn up, a contractor picked and the trees came down by June of this year, 2016.

Watching the process of cutting the tress down was exciting, but also very alarming as they plummeted to the ground.  It triggered our senses into making sure we honored the qualities of their resources.  The Poplar and Sycamore will be used for work tables and trim, the limbs and skinnier trunks are being split for firewood and the leftover branches were made into mulch.  What we like to call the prize of this project is that beautiful, 150' Oak is being made into flooring!
