Adorn your home from tabletops to the garden! We are a husband and wife team working together creating unique pottery for your enjoyment. Please use our secure online shopping carts at your convenience! Our home and studio is located in a lovely residential neighborhood in Asheville, North Carolina. Pottery Classes!!!
Level: Beginning Cost: $35 each ~ Includes all materials Ages: 3* - 10 Duration: 2 hours When: January - March Saturdays and Sundays 9-11am &1-3pm Flexible hours available after school during the week Where: 351 Kenilworth Rd. Making pottery requires patience and a relationship to spatial elements. This fun class will focus on how to make shapes out of clay such as spheres, cubes and coils. Allow your child to think of an animal they would like to make and bring a picture for a reference. With our help, they will be constructing these animals during the class. *Parents of children under 4 must be present. Parents of children over 4 are welcome to stay, but not required. After the class, Sandy and I will glaze and fire your childs' work and schedule a pick up time at the studio. (Approximately 1 week - 10 days after class) We are experienced in working with children and our studio is a safe environment, equipped with a bathroom. Please don't hesitate to call us with any questions. How to sign up your child: Please email or call me (Ann) to set up the date and time you would like to attend. Please try and sign up a day or two prior to the time you would prefer. We can only accommodate 4-5 students at a time. Payment is due at time of class. Thank you and we are looking forward to this!
